"GLOW Night Out" Series

Mark your calendars! Beginning in 2012the LAST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH we will be offering our "GLOW Night Out" Series.  These will range anywhere from a movie showing to a workshop for healthy eating, to greening your home with natural products.  A GLOW practitioner will host this monthly social event at our 'Studio Be' space ~ come relax, learn, enjoy healthy treats, and get inspired with like-minded people in your community.  All events are on a drop-in basis ~ $10 fee at the door ... click here to read more

Recipe of the Month

Toasted Pecan and Cranberry Quinoa
*Serves 4-6
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups dry-roasted quinoa
2 navel oranges, zested
1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
2 1/2 cups veggie broth (or water)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1. Rinse quinoa in a fine mesh strainer.

2. Combine broth, oil, and quinoa, bring to a boil.

3. Add cranberries, cover and lower heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.

5. Fluff with a fork and toss in orange zest, parsley, and toasted pecans.

6. Serve warm or at room temp.

Is also great with diced roasted squash!
